The base of our Replacement Heads are biodegradable, so they can go in the compost or trash. However, we recommend removing the bristles and metal pieces. If you want to put them in compost, you can either snap off the head or pluck out the bristles, whichever is more convenient. We don't advise throwing it in your home compost, because it will take longer to biodegrade (because home composts generally don't heat up or have enough moisture like industrial compost facilities), but you can compost the head in an industrial composting facility!
