Are the bamboo toothbrushes recyclable or compostable?Updated 23 days ago

Our Bamboo Toothbrush bristles are made of are made of soft nylon, as recommended by both dentists and the American Dental Association. Soft nylon bristles do not scrape enamel and are gentle on gum lines, so they won't contribute to receding gums.

Nylon bristles are not compostable, nor should they be recycled. Since they are small and fine, they would slip through any recycling center's sorting facility which could compromise the integrity of the plastics being recycled. 

We recommend disposing of the Bamboo Toothbrushes in the trash at this time!
